Our review of fabrics for bed linen is not complete without bamboo fibers. Bamboo textiles are clothing and linens made of bamboo fibers. While bamboo plants has long been used in clothing industry (e.g. in making corsets) only recent development of technologies allowed bamboo fibers be used in a wide array of textile and fashion applications. Percale and Satin Bed Linen

When considering what bed linen to buy, percale and satin bed sheets ought to be among the options. One has to know that cotton and linen are the types of fabric, while percale and satin are the types of weave. As we spend one third of our lives in bed, it is wise to choose your bedding with care and spend some time and effort in order to find out the differences and benefits of different bed linen. The right choice will make you want to jump into bed at thought of its comfort! The linen bedding and cotton bedding were already discussed in this blog, so today let’s talk of percale and satin ones. Percale and satin terms describe the weave, not the fabric. The fabric itself can be cotton based or a mix of different yarns.   Percale bed linen So percale could be a blend of half cotton and half polyester, pure cotton, or a blend of other fabrics in any ratio.
